Two separate bills related to aviation services and the Civil Aviation Authority have been registered in Parliament.
On Sunday, the Federal Parliament Secretariat received the Civil Aviation Authority Amendment Bill 2081 and the Nepal Aviation Services Authority Establishment and Management Bill 2081.
Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey registered both bills.
According to Minister Pandey, the legislation aims to separate regulatory and service provider functions, which are currently both handled by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.
