Shivana Shrestha has won the first season of The Strings, a retro English singing competition hosted by Dish Home.
The grand finale event of the competition was held Tuesday.
Tushita Maskey bagged the 1st runner-up spot and Swornim Shrestha stood behind her as the 2nd runner-up.
A jury including Nirvana Chaudhary, Yulia Koirala, Pemba Lepcha and Sonna Amatya announced the winner. However, audience votes were also significant in the competition.
Along with the cash prizes of Rs 100,000, Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively, the winners also got an annual Dish Home subscription for free.
