Kathmandu, February 24
Acting on information that locals provided, a team from the Nepali Army’s Mountain Warfare Training Academy has located the site where Tara Air’s 9N-AHH plane crashed while it was on its way to Jomsom from Pokhara with 23 passengers and crew on board.
The plane, missing since 7.57 am, was found to have crashed at Solighopte in Myagdi district. An NA chopper is heading towards the site. Colonel Indra Bahadur Rayamajhi of the academy, tasked with searching the plane, told Onlinekhabar that they found the site based on information that local people povided.
The plane with call sign 9N-AHH had left Pokhara airport for Jomsom at 7.57 am. It lost contact at 8.10 am.
