The weather will be partly to generally cloudy throughout the country with chances of snowfall in the high hilly and mountainous region for the next three days due to the effect of westerly wind, according to recent weather forecasts.
Meteorologist Barun Paudel says the weather would be partly cloudy in Sudurpashchim and some mountainous districts while it would be clear in other parts in the country. However, there is no possibility of occurrence of rainfall due to the impact of the westerly wind, but the mercury might dip due to the snowfall.
Meanwhile, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has urged one and all to take precaution against cold as there is possibility of light to moderate snowfall in the high hilly and mountainous regions, and of occurrence of fog in some parts of the Tarai region in the morning for three days.
