Morang, October 14

An investigation team formed by the government to find perpetrators and reasons behind the murder of Khursid Alam Ansari, a teacher in Bhutaha of Sunsari district has failed to crack the mystery.

The government had commissioned the team led by SSP Kishor Dahal to investigate into the case and submit the report within 15 days. However, has not submitted its report yet for the lack of substantial information.

Ansari was murdered on September 20.

An official involved in the probe says the committee has failed to find the motive behind the murder. Members of the committee, however, claim they are preparing the report and will submit it at the earliest.

The Committee had also recorded statements of neighbours, relatives and police during the investigation.

It has been reported that Indian shooters were mobilised in the crime.

The government has already announced Ansari a martyr and provided Rs 1 million ex gratia support to the family.
