Kathmandu, April 17
At least five persons died in a road accident in Waling, Syangja of the Gandaki province on Sunday morning.
The district police office says the victims include a minor, but they are yet to be identified.
An SUV (Ga 1 Ja 7399) heading towards had fallen off the road at Mathillo Dandakharka, Waling municipality-12. The vehicle was carrying 11 people.
Six persons have sustained injuries, and they have been sent to the Gandaki Medical College in Pokhara for further treatment, according to the district police office spokesperson Rajendra Prasad Adhikari.
The victims’ bodies have been kept at a local primary health centre, Waling, Syangja.
