Damauli, September 29
A 72-year-old woman died when a motorcycle hit her in Deurali, Byas municipality-12 of the Tanahun district along the Prithvi Highway on Wednesday morning.
The victim has been identified as Chet Kumari Jaishi, a local, informs the District Police Office.
She was hit by the two-wheeler (Ga 16 Pa 1677) heading towards Damauli from Chhirkane of the district. Seriously injured in the accident, she was taken to the nearby Ratna Hari Hospital, when doctors declared her dead.
Police have arrested the biker for further investigation.
