Kathmandu, June 22
The Chairperson and a member of the Tax Settlement Commission have absconded after the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority summoned them for an inquiry.
Chairperson Lumbadhwaj Mahat and member Umesh Prasad Dhakal are absconding for last few days.
Meanwhile, the Commission has issued a notice calling members of the public to inform the Commission if they happen to see them.
The Commission has recently arrested a TSC member and Inland Revenue Department’s Director General Chudamani Sharma for an investigation into an alleged embezzlement case.
