Kathmandu, October 11
After spending three nights at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, President Bidya Devi Bhandari is getting discharged on Tuesday.
Hospitalised on Saturday, she tested positive for the coronavirus the next day.
However, her condition significantly improved now and the doctors have allowed her to go home.
“Temperatures are down whereas cough has turned weak,” a doctor attending the head of the state says, “Now, we will discharge her. We can go to her residence if need be.”
The distance between President’s Office, which is also her official residence, is just around five minutes walk away from the TU Teaching Hospital.
