A teenage boy died after he got electric shocks while playing a game on a mobile phone that was connected to a power socket to recharge the battery.
The deceased has been identified as 15-year-old Saujan Rai, a resident of Trishuli Chok, Letang Municipality-3 of Morang district.
DSP Raj Kumar Khai says Rai was staying at his friend Suraj Rai’s house and the incident occurred at midnight yesterday.
After his friend caught the shocks, the host had called his parents and switched off power connections.
After a few minutes, police had reached the site only to find the boy already dead.
