Kathmandu, October 30
The Thai Airways International, the national flag carrier of Thailand, has resumed its Kathmandu-Bangkok flights from Sunday.
The airlines had suspended its Kathmandu-Bangkok flights since March 25, 2020 after the Covid pandemic.
General Manager of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Pratap Babu Tiwari confirmed that Thai Airways International restarted its flights.
With the resumption of Thai Airways flights, Thai Smile has ceased its operations in Kathmandu.
Thai Airways International commenced its service in Nepal in December 1968.
The TIA Office has announced that Nepal’s international flights have returned to pre-Covid levels.
