Two-way trade has restarted at the Tatopani border crossing in Sindupalchok from Monday.

The head of the Tatopani Customs Office, Dayananda KC, informs that three truckloads of logs and mattresses were sent to China on Monday morning.

Officials of the two countries made an agreement to open trade from major border points between the two countries during an ongoing meeting of the Nepal-China Coordination Mechanism on Border Trade and Cooperation in Lhasa.

On March 30, after a long gap of over three years due to the Covid pandemic, China agreed to open the Rasuwagadhi border point with Nepal for cross-border human movement.
