Kathmandu, April 16
Ujjwal Saagar and the Band will be performing live in concert on Saturday, April 19, at Moksh, Jhamsikhel.
This marks the first-ever live concert of singer-songwriter Ujjwal Saagar.
“I have always wanted to do a live concert with a band, but for various reasons, it could not happen,” says Ujjwal Saagar. “In the meantime, I composed music, sang songs, and collaborated with different artists. Now, I’m finally beginning this live concert journey.”
Organised by Raaela Films and powered by Mantra Guitars, the show will feature original songs by Ujjwal Saagar, along with a few selected cover performances.
Some of Ujjwal Saagar’s popular songs include Sunana, Timi Khusi Ta Chhau Ni?, Sunakhari, Dailo, Sannata, Mirmire, Chhaya, and Dhun.
The band features Ujjwal Saagar on vocals, Naren Moktan and Bishwa Adhikari on guitars, Rhythm Bogati on drums, Rupesh Shakya on flute, Neil Ghatani on keyboard, Jay Lama Dong on bass guitar, Aayush Dhital on tabla, and Sabin Shakya as the sound engineer. Singer Prabriti Rai will also be joining Ujjwal Saagar on stage.
