Kathmandu, February 20
Voting for the post of RPP President has begun at the venue of the unity convention in Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu.
For the top leadership position, Kamal Thapa and Pradip Bikram Rana are in the fray. Rana, president of RPP’s Kathmandu-7 chapter, cast his vote first, followed by Prakash Chandra Lohani.
Lohani was also an aspirant for the top position. But he withdrew his candidature in the 11th hour, leaving Thapa and Rana in the ring.
The party is using ballot papers during the election for the post of president. For election of central members, it will use electronic voting machines.
