Palpa, February 7
Four people died and 16 suffered injuries when a jeep met with an accident at Sridanda of Dovan, Palpa district, on Tuesday.
The jeep was taking a musical troupe home after the end of a wedding party at Jyamure of the district. The injured are under treatment at Lumbini zonal hospital. Four of the injured are critical, police informed, identifying the dead as Jasbir Bakawal Magar, Min Bahadur Thapa Magar, Hari Bahadur Rana and Yam Bahadur Rana. All of the deceased are from Dovan-2, Deurali.
The jeep fell around 300 metres down the road, possibly after brake failure, police said.
