Chitwan, August 3
A woman who was rescued from the Narayani River on Thursday morning died amidst treatment at Chitwan Medical College.
The woman of around 45 years of age jumped into the river at around 7:40 am on Thursday.
She was rescued and rushed to the Chitwan Medical College with the help of the Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force.
However, she breathed her last during treatment, according to District Police Office, Chitwan’s spokesperson SP Bijay Raj Pandit.
The identity of the woman is yet to be ascertained.
