Lahan, February 12
An unidentified group opened fire on Lalu Khan, Siraha area number 6 in-charge of the Young Communist League affiliated to the ruling CPN-Maoist Centre. Chief district officer of Siraha, Shrikrishna Shrestha, said Khan has suffered head injuries. According to Khan, the gang had attacked Khan with countrymade rifles.
Khan is receiving treatment at Mangalam Hospital in Mirchaiya. Shrestha told Onlinekhabar that Khan is out of danger.
