One of the most loved cars from Hyundai in Nepal is Venue, and Hyundai has come up with a facelift version of it, All-New Venue. The facelift version of the car was launched in India in June of 2022 and Hyundai has recently launched it in Nepal as well.
It comes with a new design, LED DRL lights and other premium features. So, do you think it will attract the Nepali market?

Design
Hyundai All-New Venue has a different styling and looks different from the older versions of Venue. The facelift version has a new grill and a bold look giving a futuristic look. It has halogen lamps on the E and S variants whereas LED projector headlamps are on the SX variant. The SX variant also has puddle lamps and cornering lamps for better indication.
All-New Venue has connecting rear tail lights along with a pixelated style of rear lights, which gives it a whole new look. It also features roof rails, which give off a sporty character. It has a shark fin antenna that goes along with the roof design with an electric sunroof to peek out from the top of it.
It has a chrome finish outside door handles along with a button, which allows you to unlock and lock it if you have the key with you. The diamond-cut alloy wheels give a sporty look along with the iconic Hyundai badging. The front and the back tyres are tubeless 195/ 65 R15 (D=380.2 mm) steel tyres.
Interior
The interior of All-New Venue is luxurious. It is equipped with many features. It has a two-tone black and greige interior on all the variants along with a leather pack steering wheel and gear knob on the SX variant. The interior includes metal finished door handles with front and rear door map pockets and seatback pockets (passenger side).
The seating capacity of All-New Venue is five on all the variants and the rear seats can be folded on a ratio of 60:40 on the SX variant, giving you extra space to keep things. The headrest on the front seat can be adjusted according to the driver’s preference.
It has a front seatback scoop giving the rear passengers ample amount of leg room. It has a boot space of 350 litres, which allows you to easily carry two suitcases with other things on top of it making it a suitable family car and also suitable for long travels.
All-New Venue has a digital cluster with colour TFT MID and an HD infotainment system of eight inches with Bluelink. The SX variant also features ambient sounds of nature for the people inside it to feel relaxed. It also features smartphone connectivity, according to its variant of it. It also has USB type-C chargers on the front and the back. Likewise, the car has a wireless charger on the front allowing you to wirelessly charge your mobile phone, which supports wireless charging.
The vehicle also features power windows on both front and rear for easy closing and opening of the windows. The AC vents can be controlled using the knob below the infotainment display. The S and SX variants also feature rear AC vents for the rear seat passengers as the air might not flow from the front AC vents to the back, completely giving the rear passengers much more comfort while travelling.
Engine and performance
Hyundai All-New Venue has a Kappa 1.2 litre MPi petrol engine with an engine displacement of 1197cc. The engine can deliver a maximum power of 61kW @ 6000rpm and a maximum torque of 113.8Nm @ 4000rpm. It features a five-speed manual transmission.
The also has optimised aerodynamics giving it boot on performance. The suspension on the front includes a McPherson strut with coil spring and the rear with coupled torsion beam axle with coil spring, making it car well balanced even on the bumpy roads of Nepal.
Safety and convenience
All-New Venue also has some premium safety features. It has two airbags on the front, which work together with the seat belts to take the safety of the vehicle to a promising level.
It has a parking-assist rear camera and sensor with dynamic guidelines allowing the driver to safely reverse it without rear-ending the car. All-New Venue also features vehicle stability management (VSM) and electronic stability control (ESC), which do not allow it to skid off easily while riding on a slippery track or while overtaking. It has hill-assist control so that you can easily climb up or decent down a steep area without any harm.
All-New Venue comes in six colours: polar white, denim blue, fiery red, typhoon silver, phantom black and titan grey.

Verdict
Hyundai venue models are already popular in Nepal, hence it is highly likely that the new All-New Venue follows suit. Budget-wise too, there is not any issue. But, for the cheaper variants, setting a difference with already available variants can be a challenge for the new car in the Nepali market.
