Three people have died in an SUV accident in Sindhuli. Eleven others have been injured.
The deceased include 42-year-old Prithvi Bhujel from Naka Joli, Golanjore Municipality-6, 45-year-old Uday Bahadur Masrangi from the same area, and 35-year-old Pawan Masrangi. Inspector Keshav Bahadur Katwal of the District Police Office Sindhuli provided this information.
They died at the District Hospital Sindhuli at around 10:30 am while receiving treatment.
On Thursday morning, around 9:15 am, the SUV with registration number Ba 20 Cha 8283, coming from Golanjore towards Sindhuli, lost control and crashed on the BP Highway near Chiyabari, Kamalamai Municipality-2.
Eleven people were injured in the accident. Among them, the condition of 32-year-old Tika Jung Rai (Hayo), the SUV driver from Golanjore-6, is reported to be serious. The driver, along with 22-year-old Uday Lungeli, 17-year-old Menuka Magar, and 37-year-old Himal Pariyar from Golanjore-6, has been sent to Dhulikhel Hospital in Kavre for treatment.
Injured individuals also include 18-year-old Gina Shrestha from Golanjore-6, Pawan Marsyangdi, 47-year-old Dhanmaya Waiba, 24-year-old Lila Magar, 22-year-old Samina Magar, 19-year-old Bandana Koirala, 37-year-old Himal Pariyar, 56-year-old Rajan Prasad Koirala, and 78-year-old Damber Kumari Karki from Kamalamai-5.
They are currently receiving treatment at the District Hospital Sindhuli.
