Kathmandu, October 18
Narayan Kaji Shrestha ‘Prakash’, leader of the CPN-Maoist Centre, left for a visit to China on Monday evening.
Shrestha’s departure for a trip to Nepal’s northern neighbour coincides with PM and party Chair Prachanda’s homecoming upon completion of a visit to Goa, where he participated in BRICS-BIMSTEC Outreach Summit.
Itineraries of Prakash’s visit were not immediately available.
Maoist Spokesperson Pampha Bhusal confirmed that party leader Shrestha was on a visit to China. Bhusal said she did not have other details related to the visit.
