A market monitoring team from the Department of Food Technology and Quality Control sealed the Anmol Sweet House based in Bhatbhateni, Naxal, for failing to maintain hygienic standards while producing edibles, including sweets.
The team sealed the sweet house upon finding flies and cockroaches swarming in the kitchen where Anmol produces ‘edibles’.
The team destroyed destroyed 14 kg Lalmohan, 14 kg Rasvari and two kg Dahimalai after seizing it from Anmol’s Bhatbhateni-based outlet.
