Kathmandu, January 8
A section of the road adjoining an under-construction hotel caved in, at Naxal, Kathmandu, on Sunday morning. Police said the cave-in did not cause a major damage to life and property, though.
A section of the road collapsed into the foundation laid for the construction of the hotel’s tower at around 6 am, police said.
This has led to the closure of the Naxal Bhagwati-Bal Mandir road section. Police have barred pedestrians from the spot and stepped up security.
