Kathmandu, March 9
The Federal Alliance staged a protest against the Saptari killings, in Kathmandu on Thursday.
FA leaders took part in the protest, demanding
amendment to the Constitution with incorporation of their demands and withdrawal of local level election announcement.
Four UDMF activists had died during the CPN-UML’s Mechi-Mahakali Campaign in Saptari, when police opened fire on a UDMF demonstration against the UML campaign. UDMF, an FA constituent, has been staging a series of protests against the incident.
