CPN-UML Chairman and prime minister-in-waiting KP Sharma Oli says Madhesh-centric parties have trying to skip the discussions on constitution amendment as they are partnering with the Nepali Congress.
Oli says his party is ready to discuss the issue with all parties with the Madheshi ones.
“Please come and discuss with us if there is any discrimination in the constitution,” he said while addressing an event of community radio broadcasters in Pokhara of Kaski today, “We are ready to remove that immediately.”
“Are you ready for that? No, you run away because if there is amendment, you lose your agenda.”
Oli maintained that his party protested the amendment proposal the government prepared earlier, but it never said the constitution cannot be amended.
