Kathmandu, March 9
The third edition of Voice of Nepal, one of Nepal’s most popular singing reality shows, is going on air from March 19.
The programme director Laxman Paudel says the programme will be broadcast from 8 pm every Friday and Saturday on Himalaya Television.
Raju Lama, Pramod Kharel, Deep Shrestha, and Trishna Gurung have been appointed coaches for this season.
The television says nearly 40,000 singing talents from different countries, including Nepal, have participated in this season, and of them, 120 will be promoted to the blind audition.
Further, those who will be able to turn the coach’s chair in front, in the blind auditions will go to the battle round. Their musical journey will start from the very point. The 12 talents selected in each coach’s team will compete in the battle round.
There have already been agreements with the main sponsors of the show. Oppo smartphone is its title sponsor this season. Likewise, the ‘powered-by’ sponsors are Bajaj Pulsar Motorcycle and My Second Teacher. Similarly, City Express Money Transfer and Lotus Herbal are co-sponsors.
Prabhu Pay is the voting partner for the programme and Dabur Real Juice and Himalaya Herbal are the associate sponsors.
Meanwhile, the television says it will soon soon launch two other reality shows, namely: The Voice of Nepal Kids and Shark Tank.
