Kathmandu, March 11
Following the revival of the CPN-UML and its comeback to the old party, the Madhav Kumar Nepal-led faction is preparing to oppose various activities of the party chairman, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, formally.
Leaders close to the party’s senior leaders Nepal and Jhala Nath Khanal held a meeting in Kathmandu on Thursday and decided that Nepal and Khanal issue a statement expressing concerns over a recent clash among cadres of the two factions in Kailali recently, according to a standing committee member.
He claims the Oli side has been attacking members of the opposing faction just because they support the dissident group.
If Oli continues to leave them aside, the leaders say they will ‘resist politically’.
