European nation, Turkey, is opening an embassy in Kathmandu.
Currently, Turkey was working in Nepal through its embassy in New Delhi, the capital of India.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the agreement was made between Foreign Minister Narayan Khadka and his Turkish counterpart Mevlat Cavusoglu on Friday afternoon.
“A telephone conversation was held between Foreign Minister Narayan Khadka and his counterpart Cavusoglu. There was a discussion between the counterparts on bilateral interests and the expansion of relations. At the same time, it was also agreed that the Republic of Turkey would open an embassy in Nepal,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
