Kathmandu, March 25
After the Holi festival, the stock market dropped by 17 points. After the reduction of that number, NEPSE has remained at 2031 points. A total of Rs 2.48 billion was traded throughout the day. As the price of 37 companies increased, 204 decreased while three remained stable.
The manufacturing group increased the most by 2.19 per cent while the microfinance group decreased by 2.25 per cent. Similarly, banking decreased by 13 points, development bank by 60 points, finance by 16 points, hydropower by 28 points, life insurance by 100 points, microfinance by 90 points, and others by 9 points. Trade increased by 8 points, manufacturing by 147 points, and hotel and tourism by 23 points.
Two companies, Sarbottam Cement and Bottlers Nepal Balaju, saw a high growth in the product group as the price of Balaju increased by 10 per cent. Recently, the price of the best listed has reached Rs 813.80 per share.
Based on the transaction amount, Gorkha’s Finance, Shivam Cement, Sonapur Cement, Himalayan Reinsurance and Ghorahi Cement were ahead respectively.
