Kathmandu, February 21
The Patan High Court’s order to halt the promotion of the film Laaj Sharanam has also affected the television series Sakkigo Ni. Both productions are backed by JPT Creation.
Arjun Ghimire Pandey, the company’s head and lead actor, announced on social media that Episode 91 of Sakkigo Ni, which had already been filmed for promotional purposes, will not be aired.
He stated, “Following the Patan High Court’s order to stop the promotion of our film Laaj Sharanam, we are unable to broadcast Episode 91 of Sakkigo Ni, which was filmed for the movie’s promotion. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
Due to the court’s directive, the film’s teaser and songs were also removed from YouTube on Wednesday. The ruling came after the court heard a petition filed by former minister Aftab Alam on Tuesday.
