The construction of an international-level parapet has commenced at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur, Kathmandu.
Following a worship ceremony on Tuesday, construction materials have been prepared, and full-scale work is set to begin from Wednesday. According to a representative involved in the project, preparations have been made to ensure the completion of the parapet by the second week of May, with work shifts being adjusted as needed.
The construction project has been approved with a budget of NPR 437.7 million. The contract for the parapet construction was awarded to BKOI-KCDC-BG JV, based in Tangal, Kathmandu.
Meanwhile, the contract for the installation of floodlights has been secured by Bishan-Ishwari Joint Venture based in Gusingal, Lalitpur. However, work on the floodlight installation has yet to commence.
