
A fire that broke out during water boring in Tikathali, Lalitpur, has been successfully brought under control after hours of effort by locals and security personnel.
The fire started at the site where the boring pipe was being installed. According to local sources, flames erupted after digging approximately 900 feet into the ground. Attempts to extinguish the fire using water were challenging, as the flames intensified upon contact with water.

The fire, which started in the morning, was finally brought under control around 12 noon. District Police Range Lalitpur SP and spokesperson Narahari Regmi confirmed that both local residents and police teams worked together to contain the fire.
