Design
Bajaj Pulsar N160 dual ABS is almost similar to Pulsar N250 dual ABS, which is another new bike Bajaj has brought along with Pulsar N160. It is a naked-styled bike with the best performance for street riding. The bike has sharp edges with aggressive aerodynamic looks. The bike looks like the advanced version of the Bajaj Pulsar variants. It has a projector-styled headlamp with LED DRLs. The LED tail lamp has a glitter pattern and the side lamp has an LED indicator.
The display on the front has a fast and responsive analogue along with a digital display. The indicators include a gear indicator, clock, odometer, fuel metre and speedometer. The tank of Pulsar N160 looks muscular and has a fuel tank capacity of 14 litres.
Performance
Pulsar N160 delivers a beast of performance with its 165CC engine displacement. The engine type is a two-valve, single-cylinder, which is oil cooled. The engine delivers a maximum power of 16 Ps @ 8750 and a maximum torque of 14.65 Nm @ 6750 rpm. The transmission includes a five-speed gear and a standard BS-6 emission with a top speed of 120 km/h.
The bike has a 14-litre tank, which gives a company-claimed mileage of 42km/l. The braking system used in Pulsar N160 involves dual disc brakes with dual channel ABS.
Other features
Pulsar N160 dual ABS is packed with other features such as a mobile charger with USB connectivity. The brakes include a 300 mm disc brake with ABS in front and a 230 mm disc brake. It has a chain drive system.
The kerb weight of the bike is 154 kg. The suspension includes a telescopic 37mm front suspension and a mono-shock with nitrox rear suspension.

Verdict
Overall, the bike has a really good performance and is already loved by most people in Nepal. The bike looks like the futuristic version of the traditional Pulsar 150, which is already one of the most loved bikes in Nepal. Along with the looks, the bike has many features you see in today’s bikes. The exhaust note is also quite beautiful and the projector headlamps add aggression to the bike. It is almost certain that the new model will give an extra advantage to the Bajaj brand’s popularity here.
