Hero Motorcorop has launched the Pro variant of its popular off-roader, the Hero XPulse 200 4V Pro, in Nepal. The 200 4V Pro is a slightly upgraded version of the Hero XPulse 200 4V with a few upgrades. Hero Motocorp has gone full throttle in the 2024 NADA Auto Show by introducing three new motorcycles in Nepal; the Hero XPulse 200 4V Pro, Hero Xtreme 125R and the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V.
Hero Motocorp has also gone full throttle on EICMA this year by introducing three new bikes; the Hero Karizma XMR 250, the Hero Xtreme 250R and the Hero XPulse 210. The XPulse 210 is the next iteration of the XPulse lineup with major changes including a 210 cc engine, a taller windscreen, a new seat design, newer side panels and an All-around LED design.
The Pro variant shares the same engine as the base variant, but it has some changes in the suspension, making it more dirt-oriented. Let’s see what the bike delivers in terms of specifications.

Design
The design of the Hero XPulse 200 4V Pro is the same as the design of the base Hero XPulse 200 4V. The major difference comes with the ground clearance and larger suspensions which makes the bike look huge. The round headlights with the LED Headlights and large windshield continue the adventure focus setup. The indicators are still halogen which would be better if changed to LED. The Pro variant gets a handlebar riser which helps better during offroading.
With the increased suspension height on both the front and the back, the ground clearance and seat height of the Hero XPulse 200 4V Pro has significantly increased. The increased ground clearance and seat height will now allow for more vigorous off-roading capabilities. The other change is the graphics and colour with the white, black and red making it stand out. The top of the engine is red coloured giving a distinct look to the overall graphics.
The Hero XPulse Hero XPulse 200 4V Pro’s rear section and exhaust are the same as the base variant which is liked by many. The LCD screen is also the same which displays information such as speed, odometer, trip meter, tachometer, gear indicator, fuel gauge and time.
Performance
The Hero XPulse 200 4V Pro has a reliable and balanced performance with its 199.6 cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine producing a maximum power of 14.1 kW at 8500 rpm and 17.35 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm. The 5-speed constant mesh transmission offers clean gear shifts, while the multi-plate wet clutch provides control and durability. It has a bore and stroke of 66.5 mm x 57.5 mm and a compression ratio of 10.5:1 for running efficiently.
The suspension and braking systems further enhance the riding experience. The front suspension features a cartridge-type fork with adjustable compression and rebound damping, ensuring a customizable ride catering to the user’s needs. At the rear, the 10-step preload adjustable mono-shock provides stability and control. As for braking the petal disc brakes measuring 276 mm at the front and 220 mm at the rear add balance to the riding. The diamond-type frame offers good strength and agility, while the 90/90-21 front and 120/80-18 rear tyres provide excellent grip.
