A man has been arrested on the charge of murdering his own brother in Elgaun, Khajura rural municipality-2 of the Banke district, on Saturday evening.
Guman Sunar (40), a local, is accused of killing 38-year-old Ganesh. Police say the two had had a scuffle when both were under the influence of alcohol on Friday night. During the fight, Guman had beaten up Ganesh, who succumbed to the injuries, according to police.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
