Kathmandu, April 30
A nurse working at Bir Hospital in Kathmandu has been found dead in mysterious circumstances in Balaju of Kathmandu.
SP Sita Ram Rijal, the spokesperson at the Kathmandu Police Range, says Anuma Shrestha (29), a resident of Bharatpur metropolitan city-1, in the room of Dr Sujan Dhakal.
Dr Dhakal works for a private hospital in Kathmandu.
The police also recovered a suicide note in the room where Shrestha was found hanging.
The Bir Hospital administration confirmed the death report. The hospital’s director Dr Santosh Paudel days Shrestha was committed to work but was reported to be mentally disturbed of late.
A staffer there says she attempted suicide at the workplace a few months ago.
Further investigation is underway.
