Kathmandu, February 26
BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has reportedly issued a decree to finish off what he calls ‘anti-Hindu forces’ in Nepal, days after returning to Delhi after visiting Kathmandu in the capacity of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s emissary. Swamy had met Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli a day before he embarked on a six-day India visit. Swamy is not the sole BJP leader breathing fire against non-Hindu forces in Nepal. Another BJP leader and lawmaker Yogi Adityanath has objected to the appointment of non-Hindus as ministers in Nepal.
Meanwhile, Bikas Thakur, the self-styled chief of Hindu Yuva Janashakti Sangh, who is reportedly from Nepal, is busy meeting BJP leaders in the Indian capital and instigating them to act tough against non-Hindus in Nepal. Right after Swamy returned from Kathmandu, Thakur met him and instigated him against secularism (the Indian constitution has also upheld secularism) enshrined in Nepal’s recently promulgated constitution. Thakur has called BJP leaders to do their bit for the establishment of Nepal as a Hindu state.

After his meeting with Swami, Thakur said: He (Swamy) has suggested taking initiatives to finish off anti-Hindu forces in Nepal.
“During my meetings, I asked KP Oli and Prachanda to make Nepal a Hindu state,” Thakur quoted Swamy as saying.
Thakur said: BJP leader and lawmaker Yogi Adityanath has promised all possible help to make Nepal a Hindu state. It’s unclear, though, what type of assistance the BJP lawmaker is willing to provide.
Thakur said Adityanath has objected to appointment of anti-Hindu figures as ministers. Adityanath reportedly got angry after Thakur ‘informed’ that the Oli government includes non-Hindu figures as well. In Delhi, Thakur is busy lobbying with Indian leaders against Nepal’s new constitution.
BJP leaders, including Adityanath, are busy spitting venom against Nepal’s constitution, thereby spoiling Nepal-India relations. Before promulgation of the constitution through a popularly-elected Constituent Assembly, Adityanath had visited Nepal and delivered a provoking speech at a programme of the Hindus together with Nepali Congress leader Khum Bahadur Khadka.
