Kathmandu, March 27
Tension gripped Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, on Sunday after rumours that there was a bomb on board the Jet Airways Boeing 737 plane.
The rumours spread soon after the plane landed at the TIA.
A bomb disposal squad from the Nepali Army rushed to the airport. Security was stepped up.
But they could not find a bomb inside the aircraft after scouring the plane.
Inclement weather conditions had affected both domestic and international flights bound for and departing from the TIA and its domestic terminal. Preparations are currently underway for resumption of air traffic.
