Kathmandu, May 30
The Parliamentary Hearing Committee has called for complaints against Justice Hari Krishna Karki who has been recommended for the post of chief justice by the Constitutional Council.
Karki is currently the acting chief justice of the Supreme Court.
Since the impeachment position filed against former chief justice Cholendra Shamsher Rana in February 2022, the Supreme Court is headless.
The committee meeting, which was held at Singhadarbar on Tuesday, called for a complaint against Karki within 10 days.
The Parliamentary Hearing Committee has said anonymous complaints will not be entertained like in previous years.
