Kathmandu, February 9
Health Minister Birodh Khatiwada claims all citizens of the country will get Covid-19 booster shots within the next few days.
Currently, the government has been providing booster shots to frontline workers and senior citizens above the age of 60 years only.
Receiving a memorandum from a delegation of the student wing of his CPN-Unified Socialist party at the ministry on Wednesday, Khatiwada said the government was already planning to give booster doses to everyone soon.
Likewise, he also said the government was serious to make sure that all children above the age of 12 would get vaccines against Covid-19, adding that is why the government established vaccination centres at schools.
Khatiwada informed the government was also making efforts to import Pfizer vaccines for the children aged 5-11.
