Kathmandu, November 10
The ruling CPN-Maoist Centre has decided to show flexibility on the issue of Constitution amendment. Thursday’s meeting of the party headquarters decided to hold talks with all parties by showing flexibility as political understanding is a must for amending and implementing the Constitution.
After the meeting, Centre Spokesperson Pampha Bhusal said the party will exercise flexibility as amending and implementing the Charter is a tough challenge. She said the party has given its Chair Prachanda the resposibility to hold talks on the issue with other parties.
Participating leaders had stressed the need to amend the Constitution without delay. The impeachment motion presented in the Parliament and the party’s general convention also figured in the meeting.
