Kathmandu, April 27
Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Top Bahadur Rayamajhi has tested positive for the coronavirus. Following the infection, he has been hospitalised.
Although his health status is normal, the minister has been admitted to the Birendra Hospital in Chhauni so as to avoid likely deterioration, Rayamajhi’s secretariat informs.
Rayamjhi has become the first minister in the Oli cabinet to test positive for the virus in the second wave of the pandemic.
He had recently attended a political function in his home district of Arghakhanchi.
