Kathmandu, April 13
Former Inspector General of Police Pradip SJB Rana passed away on Saturday evening at the age of 78.
His final rites was performed at Pashupatinath Aryaghat at 11:00 am today.
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the demise of our dear father IGP Pradip SJB Rana who passed away this evening (April 12,2025) at the age of 78 after a long, arduous battle with multiple health issues,” writes Deep Shamsher Rana on Facebook, son of Rana.
Rana served as IGP from September 2000 to 2002 December.
