The bodies of two girls were found on the bank of the Rapti river in Banke.
The deceased have been identified as 22-year-old Kanchan Tharu and 13-year-old Arpana Tharu of Rapti-Sonari rural municipality-6, informs DSP Ram Bahadur Gharti of District Police Office, Banke.
According to DSP Gharti, they went missing on Saturday while crossing the Rapti river while going to the Bayar Khan forest.
During the search for the missing persons, the body was found in Khallatpari under Raptisonari rural municipality-6 on Sunday afternoon.
