Kathmandu, April 1
The price of gold, which was stable on Sunday, increased by Rs 1,600 per tola (11.66 grams) on Monday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, gold was traded at Rs 131,600 per tola on Monday. It is the highest price of gold so far.
The previous day, gold was traded at 130,000 rupees per tola. The prices of gold and silver have been on the rise for the past few months. Silver rose by Rs 10 per tola to Rs 1,535 on Monday.
