Kathmandu, August 17
The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has arrested four more Chinese nationals including a woman in connection with the gold smuggling case on Wednesday.
The spokesperson of Nepal Police, DIG Kuber Kadayet, said those arrested were Tian Mi, Wen Tong, Ding Shaeg Fa and Li Meng Tai.
They are being charged with smuggling gold and organised crime, said Kadayet. They were arrested from different places in Kathmandu, according to CIB.
With this, the number of people arrested for their involvement in the gold smuggling case has reached 21.
