Rupandehi district security committee has recommended the government to declare Youth Association (Rupandehi) Chair Durga Tiwari, who died in a shooting at Khairahani Bazaar, Devdaha municipality, a martyr.

Meanwhile, a funeral procession was taken out from Pushpa Lal Park for cremating Tiwari.

Meanwhile, Rupandehi police are conducting a search for Manoj Pun, a former YA cadre, on the suspicion of his involvement in the case.
