Kathmandu, October 21
The National Examination Board has published the schedule for the grade 12 final examinations.
The examinations will begin on November 24 and end on December 1.
The exams, previously scheduled for April, were postponed due to the coronavirus infections across the country. However, as the virus spread did not show any sign of subsiding for months, the board decided to conduct the examinations maintaining possible security measures.
The board has urged coronavirus positive examinees not to take the exams, assuring it will conduct the exams for them once they recover. Such students have to show their coronavirus positive reports to get their tests rescheduled.
Likewise, if the students are staying in other districts except that of their schools, they can take examinations from wherever they are staying, according to the board’s chairman Chandra Mani Paudel. The board has already collected details of the students and their current locations.
