A helicopter flying from Lukla to Kathmandu had to make an emergency landing at Sanga after colliding with a bird.
According to a senior official from Heli Everest, the 9N-AKG helicopter was struck by a bird, prompting the pilot to land safely at a secure location to avoid further risks.
“No damage has been observed on the aircraft, and the helicopter is preparing to resume its flight,” the official stated.
Airport sources confirmed that the helicopter was carrying six passengers, including the pilot.
