Kathmandu, March 14
Senior leader of the CPN-UML, Bamdev Gautam, said on Tuesday that the government of Nepal should make India say sorry to Nepal for the killing of Govinda Gautam. At the same time, Gautam said India should give a compensation of INR 10 million to the bereaved family.
Gautam, who was in Nepalgunj as part of the UML’s Mechi-Mahakali Campaign, said: This government is trying to prolong its stay in power by claiming to India that it is somehow managing public outrage over the incident.
