Janakpurdham, August 30
RPP-Nepal President Kamal Thapa has called on the Prachanda government to set the date for local, provincial and federal elections.
Without elections, there will be instability, Thapa noted, adding that there’s no alternative to polls.
Thapa was speaking at a programme that RPP-Nepal (Dhanusha chapter) had organised in Dhanusha Dham on Tuesday. He said the government should implement the border area development programme that the erstwhile government (KP Oli government) had introduced for addressing Madhesh’s main problems — education, health and poverty.
He expressed concern about proselytisation’s on the rise in Tarai-Madhesh. Thapa called all those people, who want Nepal to achieve prosperity by defending its religions, cultures and identities, to support his party.
